Japan’s robot venture

Left: Japan’s robot venture Squse President Mikio Shimizu displays an artificial muscle and a soft robot hand which has 21 artificial muscles, powered by pneumatic actuators to vent and stretch each joints of all fingers in Tokyo. Squse and Kyoto’s Doshisha University developed the robot hand to pinch or grasp objects like human for use as an artificial hand for the disabled.
