A cordless telephone handset, ‘TEL-KU2’,
Japan’s electronics manufacturer Sanyo employee displays a cordless telephone handset, ‘TEL-KU2’, that’s equipped with a bone-conduction speaker. Bone conduction is the conduction of sound to the inner ear through the bones of the skull. The headset which converts electric signals into mechanical vibrations is ergonomically positioned on the temple and cheek and accordingly sends sound to the internal ear through the cranial bones.
