Logitech’s Quickcall USB Speakerphone
Making calls from your PC over the Internet just got easier with Logitech’s Quickcall USB Speakerphone. The VOIP device is said to deliver excellent voice quality by using a two-microphone array – one on each side of the wing-shaped phone – that can capture voices and sounds from a wider area in a room, including whispers from several feet away. The QuickCall also eliminates echoes caused by a speaker and microphone in close proximity. Additionally, when privacy is needed, the user can plug in a headset to use the device. The Quickcall draws power from the USB port and requires no other power source. The device retails internationally for $99 (Rs 4,600 approx).
