Dell Precision 390

Dell recently announced its newest workstation PC, the Precision 390, that’s targeted at applications ranging from 3-D entertainment to 3-D engineering design. The system incorporates a chassis that can be easily converted from a tower to a desktop configuration and vice versa. Also, because the chassis is rack-mountable, it can even be used in larger, networked deployments. As for the specs, consider that the Precision 390 features an Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.86 GHz/4MB L2 cache/1066MHz FSB); Intel 975X Chipset; 1GB (2x512MB) RAM; 80GB SATA II (7200RPM) hard disk; 128MB nVidia Quadro FX 550(D) graphics processor; integrated AC-97 audio; 16X DVD ROM; 17-inch monitor; Dell optical USB mouse and comes preinstalled with Windows XP Professional SP2 Edition.
