BLACKBERRY 800G
Airtel and Research In Motion have launched the new BlackBerry 800G in India.The quad-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE device will work on Airtel's network to provide users with functionality such as "push" email, phone, text messaging, browser,organiser and access to other corporate data applications. Amongst its myriad features, the device features a bright, high-resolution, QVGA (320x240) LCD which supports over 65,000 colours. The display also incorporates intelligentlight sensing technology that automatically adjusts the LCD and keyboard lighting for visibility outdoors, indoors and in dark environments. The new 800G comes with an XScale cellular processor, 64MB flash memory and 16MB SDRAM-besides, of course, the usual Blackberry offerings such as Bluetooth and QWERTY keyboard. The cost is approximately Rs 29,000.
